The ATC205 Shaft Seal Maintenance Kit is a critical repair set designed for the EVO series of rotary screw air compressor air ends (commonly found in EVO6 or similar models). Including the front cover (also referred to as the shaft seal end cover) ensures a complete seal of the drive shaft assembly, preventing oil leaks and maintaining internal pressure.
Kit Contents:
- PTFE Shaft Seal: A high-durability oil seal designed to withstand high temperatures and rotational speeds.
- Shaft Sleeve (Bush): A wear-resistant sleeve that sits on the rotor shaft to provide a smooth sealing surface for the PTFE seal.
- Front Cover / End Cover: The housing that holds the seal in place and bolts to the air end body.
- O-Rings: Multiple nitrile O-rings (such as 120.00 x 3.00 or 160.00 x 3.00) to ensure static sealing between the cover and the housing.
- Installation Accessories: May include mounting bushes, specialized adhesives (like 638 glue), or high-temperature silicone to secure and lubricate the components during assembly.
