Edmonton compressor service
Independent diagnostics, maintenance and repair for Bobcat portable and industrial compressors, plus legacy Doosan Portable Power equipment. Airtek supports commercial fleets, contractors and industrial facilities in Edmonton and the surrounding region.
Diesel rotary screw compressors used for construction, utilities, blasting, pipeline work, drilling and rental fleets.
Fixed-speed and variable-speed rotary screw packages, plus tank-mounted reciprocating systems for shops and plants.
Current Bobcat families and earlier Doosan Portable Power model designations are handled as one service lineage.
One equipment lineage
Doosan Bobcat announced that Doosan Portable Power and Doosan Industrial Air products would transition to the Bobcat brand. That means an Edmonton fleet can have older Doosan P, XP, HP or XHP machines beside current Bobcat PA units, while an industrial site may operate newer Bobcat IA, EA or SA compressors. Airtek identifies the exact package by model, serial number and configuration before planning the repair.
PA portable compressors and IA, EA and SA industrial compressor families.
P, C, XP, HP, VHP and XHP portable models, including utility and high-pressure packages.
Commercial and industrial equipment
Model coverage depends on configuration, condition and parts support. These are the Bobcat and legacy Doosan Portable Power families most relevant to industrial and field-service work.
Towable diesel rotary screw packages from compact 185 CFM machines through mid-range dual- or variable-pressure units and large high-pressure compressors. Service can involve the airend, separator circuit, inlet and regulation system, cooling package, diesel engine, controls and aftertreatment-related faults.
Examples: PA185, PA185V, PA185VP, PA250V, PA425V, PA450VP, PA460V, PA750P, PA825V, PA915, PA1170P and PA1600VP.
Earlier towable and utility-mounted machines remain active across contractor and rental fleets. Airtek works from the complete model and serial number because pressure class, engine, controls and package details can differ substantially within the legacy range.
Examples: P185, P185 Utility, C185, XP185, P250/HP210, P425/HP375, HP450/VHP400, XP825/HP750, HP915, HP1600, XHP750 and XHP1170.
Oil-injected rotary screw packages for production, fabrication and shop air. The current range includes belt-driven small IA units, fixed- and variable-speed IA packages, and larger EA fixed- or variable-speed machines. Diagnosis considers the compressor, motor, drive, separator, cooling system, controller and the surrounding air system.
Examples: IA10–IA20, IA30–IA100, IA125–IA200, corresponding VS models, and EA30VS through the larger EA fixed- and variable-speed range.
Tank-mounted SA reciprocating packages require a different diagnostic path from rotary screw equipment. Portable fleets may also include onboard IQ air-treatment systems, dual-pressure controls or high-pressure packages used for drilling and specialized air requirements.
Examples: SA10T/TD, SA15T/TD and SA20T/TD, plus properly identified IQ-equipped and high-pressure portable configurations.
Faster service intake
Bobcat and legacy Doosan machines span different airends, engines, pressure ranges, controllers and emissions systems. Good intake information helps Airtek prepare the right diagnostic path before the compressor arrives or a service visit is scheduled.
Send clear photos of the compressor data plate and engine plate where applicable.
Include current hours, the last known service and any recent repairs or control changes.
Note when the issue occurs and photograph active alarms, shutdown messages or warning lamps.
Tell us whether the unit is towable, skid-mounted or stationary and how it is being used.
What brings equipment in
A symptom is a starting point, not a parts order. Airtek checks the operating conditions and related systems before recommending a repair.
Pressure will not build, flow has fallen or the machine cannot hold setpoint under load.
Airend or separator temperature alarms, hot shutdowns or repeated overheating.
The engine runs but service air does not engage, or the inlet and regulation system responds incorrectly.
Elevated oil carryover, rapid fluid loss, wet discharge or separator-related concerns.
No-crank, hard starting, battery or charging faults, or shutdown immediately after start.
Controller codes, sensor faults, CAN communication issues or recurring protective shutdowns.
Surging, hunting, frequent load/unload cycling or pressure that drifts from the selected range.
Air, oil, coolant or fuel leaks, unusual mechanical noise, belt concerns or increased vibration.
A controlled repair process
The objective is not simply to clear an alarm. It is to identify the cause, complete approved work and confirm the compressor performs as expected before it returns to service.
Confirm the brand, model, serial number, engine or motor, pressure class, hours and reported symptom.
Inspect the relevant mechanical, electrical, control, cooling and air-system conditions before selecting parts.
Review findings and scope, then complete the authorized maintenance or repair with suitable parts and fluids.
Run and monitor the compressor as appropriate, check for leaks or recurring faults and document the result.
Service questions
Have a model-specific question? Send the data plate and a clear description of the problem to info@airteksystems.com.
Yes. Airtek assesses current Bobcat compressors and legacy equipment carrying the Doosan Portable Power name. The two names can represent related product lineage, but the exact model, serial number and configuration still determine the correct service information and parts path.
Yes. The relevant product range includes diesel towable and utility-mounted rotary screw compressors, stationary IA and EA rotary screw packages, and SA tank-mounted reciprocating units. Contact Airtek with the machine details so we can confirm service fit and scheduling.
Include the complete designation exactly as shown on the data plate. Legacy examples include P185, C185, XP185, P250/HP210, P425/HP375, HP450/VHP400, XP825/HP750, HP915, HP1600, XHP750 and XHP1170. Suffixes and engine details can matter.
Yes. Preserve the fault code or warning message when possible. A shutdown may involve temperature, pressure regulation, restricted airflow, low voltage, an engine condition, a sensor or wiring rather than the controller alone. Repeatedly clearing a fault without finding its cause can hide useful diagnostic information.
Airtek can identify required parts and check availability using the full model and serial number. Availability varies by age and configuration, so we confirm the parts path before promising a repair timeline or recommending alternatives.
Send photos of the compressor and engine data plates, current hours, fault codes, service history and a description of when the problem occurs. Note whether the unit starts, builds pressure and stays running under load. For towable equipment, also mention its current location and transport condition.
